My Story
Hi, I’m Kelsey, the person behind Other Half.
I live in Toronto with my amazing fiancée. I believe that the best parts of life happen in the little and big moments we share with the people we love.
As a queer person, I know how important it is to feel seen and celebrated for our love, and that belief guides me in every ceremony I create.
I’ve been an actor for the past fifteen years, and somewhere along the way, officiating started popping up in my life. I decided to follow my instinct, and I haven’t looked back. My background in acting has taught me how to listen, how to be silly without fear, and how to tell stories with care. Officiating lets me bring those skills into a different kind of storytelling, one where your relationship is at the centre.
To me, a wedding ceremony shouldn’t feel like just filling in the blanks. It should feel like you: genuine, joyful, and rooted in what makes you you.
Outside of officiating, I love a walk with a dog, hanging out with friends, and reading a good book in a great coffee shop.
